Trinity was first exposed to the natural wonders of holistic health while growing up in the Hudson River Valley. Surrounded by a family who prioritized the impact of natural, well-sourced ingredients and a whole body approach to wellness, she was inspired to pursue a career as a holistic physician.

 

While pre-med at NYU, however, she became increasingly conflicted by the lack of accessibility in natural health care. She shifted gears and followed a marketing career in the tech world, all the while keeping personal wellness a top priority in her daily life.

 

It was there that Trinity decided to merge her newfound interest in brand building and storytelling with her lifelong passion for natural wellness. In 2017, she launched Golde with her partner, Issey Kobori. Driven to make wellness fun and approachable for consumers, the brand’s refreshing take on wellness has resonated with an incredible range of consumers and brands, including Sephora, Goop, The Wing and Urban Outfitters.

Annie began her career in the luxury personal care category with her first job at Estee Lauder. In 1998, after 6 years at Estee Lauder, Annie was recruited by Steve Bock to be one of the early members of the team that launched Sephora USA, a newly created division of LVMH, in her initial role in Inventory Planning, and eventually the Director of Merchandising. In 2002, after 5 years at Sephora, Annie held different roles outside of cosmetics as the VP, DMM of textiles at Restoration Hardware as well as owning her own retail business. Eventually, Annie returned to cosmetics in Global Product Marketing for Benefit Cosmetics where she learned the fundamentals of product development, supply chain management and brand marketing from a leading personal care organization.

In 2011, Annie returned to her Sephora roots, in merchandising for color cosmetics at Sephora inside JC Penney and was able to leverage both her branding and merchant skills. Annie has had the rare privilege of working closely with brands from ‘concept to customer’, leading multiple teams whose responsibilities spanned from creative product ideation to in-store merchandising and promotions.

In 2013, Annie joined Shashi Batra in co-founding Credo. Credo’s mission is to change the way people think about the products they use every day.

Elena joined The Detox Market in early 2017 as Buyer and Director of Retail when she was looking for a path to bridge her desire to make impactful change in the products offered in the marketplace with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Prior to The Detox Market, Elena was Director of Retail at VIOLET GREY and Buyer for NewBeauty at Fred Segal. While at NewBeauty, Elena worked with SANDOW to develop and launch The Blend by Fred Segal, Fred Segal’s first branded product under the SANDOW umbrella.

Amy has years of experience in category management in the Beauty industry, most recently, she spent 8 years as a senior buyer for Target’s Haircare and Skincare selection. She brings a passion for clean beauty and excitement around innovation and growth at Whole Foods Market, and in the clean beauty industry at large.
