Annie Jackson

COO

Credo

Annie began her career in the luxury personal care category with her first job at Estee Lauder. In 1998, after 6 years at Estee Lauder, Annie was recruited by Steve Bock to be one of the early members of the team that launched Sephora USA, a newly created division of LVMH, in her initial role in Inventory Planning, and eventually the Director of Merchandising. In 2002, after 5 years at Sephora, Annie held different roles outside of cosmetics as the VP, DMM of textiles at Restoration Hardware as well as owning her own retail business. Eventually, Annie returned to cosmetics in Global Product Marketing for Benefit Cosmetics where she learned the fundamentals of product development, supply chain management and brand marketing from a leading personal care organization.

In 2011, Annie returned to her Sephora roots, in merchandising for color cosmetics at Sephora inside JC Penney and was able to leverage both her branding and merchant skills. Annie has had the rare privilege of working closely with brands from ‘concept to customer’, leading multiple teams whose responsibilities spanned from creative product ideation to in-store merchandising and promotions.

In 2013, Annie joined Shashi Batra in co-founding Credo. Credo’s mission is to change the way people think about the products they use every day.

Elena Severin

Prior to The Detox Market, Elena was Director of Retail at VIOLET GREY and Buyer for NewBeauty at Fred Segal. While at NewBeauty, Elena worked with SANDOW to develop and launch The Blend by Fred Segal, Fred Segal’s first branded product under the SANDOW umbrella.

Holly Thaggard

Founder

Supergoop

Holly Thaggard is the Founder of Supergoop!, the first and only lifestyle brand 100% dedicated to UV protection. Holly is aiming to change the way the world thinks about SPF through clean, feel-good, highly innovative formulas. When a close friend was diagnosed with skin cancer, Holly learned that it’s the most common type of cancer in the U.S. – and that it’s primarily preventable with the use of daily SPF.

But she also discovered that the #1 reason people don’t wear it every day is because it doesn’t feel good on their skin. So in 2007, she launched Supergoop!, a collection of ingredient-conscious, efficacious formulas that deliver broad spectrum protection in unique, user-friendly and feel-good ways. Holly is on a mission to stop the epidemic of skin cancer by changing consumer myths about SPF through these products, which also nourish the skin and blend in seamlessly with your daily routine. As Founder & CEO, Holly has hired a best-in-class leadership team and has been intimately involved with establishing and developing all divisions of the brand, from marketing to product development to sales. Over the course of her Supergoop! career, the brand has been included in Allure’s “Best of Beauty” list four years in a row and has won a 2012 CEW Award for Indie Beauty Brand. Holly graduated from LSU with a B.S. in Education, and prior to starting Supergoop!, she was a third grade teacher and professional harpist. She currently lives in San Antonio, Texas with her husband and two children.

Amy Jargo

Global Category Manager, Beauty

Amy leads merchandising for Beauty (Facial Care, Hair Care, Cosmetics, and Fragrances), in the Whole Body Department. Amy has years of experience in category management in the Beauty industry, most recently, she spent 8 years as a senior buyer for Target’s Haircare and Skincare selection. Trinity Mouzon Wofford

Co-Founder

Golde

Trinity was first exposed to the natural wonders of holistic health while growing up in the Hudson River Valley. Surrounded by a family who prioritized the impact of natural, well-sourced ingredients and a whole body approach to wellness, she was inspired to pursue a career as a holistic physician.

While pre-med at NYU, however, she became increasingly conflicted by the lack of accessibility in natural health care. She shifted gears and followed a marketing career in the tech world, all the while keeping personal wellness a top priority in her daily life.

It was there that Trinity decided to merge her newfound interest in brand building and storytelling with her lifelong passion for natural wellness. In 2017, she launched Golde with her partner, Issey Kobori. Driven to make wellness fun and approachable for consumers, the brand’s refreshing take on wellness has resonated with an incredible range of consumers and brands, including Sephora, Goop, The Wing and Urban Outfitters.

Kendra Kolb Butler

Founder

Alpyn Beauty

Kendra Kolb Butler is a former Manhattanite and beauty industry veteran, having led sales, marketing, and public relations initiatives for international luxury beauty brands including Givenchy, Clarins, Coty, and Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare.

In 2015, Kendra swapped her high heels for hiking shoes, and moved west to Wyoming in search of open space, fresh mountain air, and serenity. With her husband, baby boy, and German Shepard in tow, she settled in the resort town of Jackson Hole, and immediately became enchanted with the natural abundance of her new home.

The Alpyn Beauty skincare line began to take shape when clients of Alpyn Beauty Bar remarked that their skin—exposed daily to an extremely harsh climate—was not responding to the majority of treatments on the market. Sourcing from her years of experience working with some of the most successful brands in the industry, Kendra paired her knowledge of the best ingredients on the market with the incredible natural ingredients found in her new backyard to create Alpyn Beauty.
